About Me

Following completion of his MBChB in Baghdad University in 1991, Dr Al Hassani became a fellow of the Iraqi Commission of Medical Specialization FICMS, before being certified by the Arab Board in General Surgery CABS in 2001. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh MRCSEd and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland AFRCSI. Dr Al Hassani is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow FRCS(Glasg) and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons FACS. In 2012 had a fellowship in Surgical Oncology from Detroit Medical Centre / Wayne State University, USA.
